went to a south dakota grant writer’s conference in pierre on august 13th 2008. mayda entered a float in white river parade for frontiers day. also a float in rosebud fair.

i am sorry that this is late. we are slowly moving along with our plans with the food pantry. we will be starting up very soon, after we all get organized with our schedules. we are hoping to get started very soon.

we had a short meeting this evening. completed a 501 c 3.
mayda is completeing her project for her horse man ship.
wilma is working very hard on the project for the food pantry.
regalia making project for the community youth its in the works.
one project for the elders is coming up.
this is a exciting time for the community.

heyoka had just met and finished our final papers. this is great news, we could move on with our community plans and make a difference.
we will be finishing up with a couple of projects in the coming months.

This is Wilma J., we’ve completed the important paper work needed. I believe we are now official!

We have completed the cp for the food pantry. I still need to clean it up a little but that’s a simple thing compared to the 501c3.

We’re on the way to great things for our community.

We finished our 1023 with the help of Mission’s CREDO Group and also Parmelee helped us finalize our document.  What a great feeling to finish it!!

the commitee have meet once this week to finish our plans. this commitee is pretty small. we are rolling right along with the plans we have made. we are hoping for the support of all our fellow community members. i hope that everyone has a nice day.

tonight was our first meeting of heyoka. we had a great time seating directors and our board members. our meeting will be at the horsecreek community hall on the first thursday of the month at 7 pm. i hope every one could come and see what we are doing.
